We actually made a calendar, you can see it here!
3D is a still image while 4D adds the dimension of motion, so it looks like a video.
3D uses the same frequency as the ultrasounds done at your doctor’s office. There have been no proven side effects from ultrasound, and we strictly adhere to FDA standards.
No, we do not, because this is an elective procedure
Well, that depends on what you are looking for! Some clients come in early as 14 weeks to have a sneak peek of the baby’s gender. This is also a good time to see the baby’s entire body in the early developing stages. Closer to 20 weeks, you can see your baby in motion, moving more of his or her limbs, sometimes mouth movements. Closer to the third trimester, the baby’s features are more defined, making 3D pictures of the face more ideal. As you get later in the third trimester, it is harder to see baby as a whole, because the little one is starting to run out of room. We can still successfully get good face shots of baby at this time. Please refer to our pregnancy calendar page to help you determine when you should schedule your baby’s photo shoot!
We will take a peek as early as 14 weeks for you and give you our professional opinion, however the most accurate gender determination is 16+ weeks.
It is recommended to maintain a healthy fluid intake to help maintain amniotic fluid. However, there are some things out of the sonographer’s control, such as baby’s position, maternal skin and body type, amount of amniotic fluid.
Drink plenty of fluid and try to drink a fruit juice 30 minutes prior to your appoint to make sure baby is awake during the session. (Unless advised not to by your physician).
We offer 10-minute ultrasounds, and 20 minute ultrasounds. However, please expect to be at the studio for at least 30 minutes so we can print you your favorite photos. It is also recommended that you arrive a few minutes early to fill out any necessary paperwork, and to make sure that we start at your scheduled time.
Yes! It is encouraged to bring family and friends. Please keep in mind that you will be in a private room and therefore do not recommend bringing more than 6 guest. Children are also welcome.
We currently take all major credit cards and cash.
Photos will be printed for you before you leave. Videos and all photos taken during the session will be emailed by the end of the day.
This is not a diagnostic exam; therefore, we will not contact your doctor. It is very important that you attend any scheduled ultrasounds that your doctor orders for you.
Our main goal at The 3D Baby Studio is making memories from the beginning. If we are not able to get a picture of baby, we will reschedule you to come back within 2 weeks, at no charge.
Two babies sharing the same space makes it harder to image. Sometimes one baby is on top of the other baby, or there is an arm or leg blocking the other baby’s face. Think of it as if someone is standing in front of you while I am trying to take your photo. We would love to still see you and your twins but suggest the earlier stages of pregnancy for this. The smaller the babies, the easier they will be to image. Please directly contact us for pricing and to determine when would be the best time to come in for this!
